Pawnest Shipping Policy (South Africa)
1. Shipping Methods
Pawnest delivers orders using trusted third-party courier services, including:
- Aramex (Store-to-Door)
- The Courier Guy
All deliveries are handled by independent courier companies once the order has been dispatched from our facility or supplier.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery time is:
8–15 business days from the date of order confirmation and payment clearance.
Please note that this is an estimated timeframe, and actual delivery may vary depending on:
- Courier delays
- Public holidays
- Weather conditions
- High order volumes
- Supplier processing times
Pawnest will always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.
3. Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days before dispatch.
Processing time is separate from shipping time.
4. Delays & Courier Responsibility
Once an order has been handed over to the courier service, it is managed by the third-party courier company.
Pawnest is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, including but not limited to:
- Delivery delays
- Incorrect routing or handling
- Operational delays within courier networks
- Strike action or service interruptions
However, we will always assist customers in tracking and following up with couriers where possible.
5. Tracking Information
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS (where applicable), allowing you to monitor your delivery progress.
6. Incorrect Address Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details provided are accurate.
Pawnest is not liable for:
- Deliveries sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery.
7. Lost or Missing Parcels
If a parcel appears lost in transit:
- We will initiate an investigation with the courier service
- Resolution times depend on the courier’s internal process
Pawnest will assist fully but cannot guarantee outcomes controlled by third-party logistics providers.
8. Force Majeure
Pawnest shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or industrial action
- Load shedding or infrastructure failure
- Courier network disruptions
